My first attempt at stamp carving.

In the spirit of my "just make stuff" resolution, I created a stamp for my daughters class.

Perry the Penguin.

Billiannes class is sharing the responsability of caring for a penguin named Perry. He came to our house last night for a sleep over. We took him to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria where he got to experiance a freeze frame of a tornato and assist in a painting project. Perry also joined us for a walk where we looked at Graffiti and climbed trees. He sat at the table and ate fishy crackers while we had supper (he has very good table manners) Billianne read him a goodnight story...Dr. Susse's "Oh The Places You'll Go!" Perry will be visiting all the childrens homes and they each write a story about his adventure. At the end of the tour the children will all map his travels around the city.

I have discontinued the drawing a day.

I noticed it was getting in the way of me just having fun. I was putting lots of pressure on myself to out-do the last piece. Stress was never what this was about.

So it is with great humbleness that I post my first "Just Make Stuff" collage!
